Food


When producing and processing food, many important aspects have to be considered before chosing the correct floor surface. Production proceses in for instance a brewery with fermentation, maturing and CIP areas requires floorings resistant to strong chemicals and near boiling water. In the CIP area, floorings must resist to very strong chemicals and near boiling water. In the bottle washing and filling area the requirements are also floorings resistant to debris of broken glass.

Bakeries
In bakeries the requirements are different. Tough mixing and kneading on heavy machinery of dry components like flour and sugar with a number of liquids like oils, fats, surfactants and emulsifiers. This means that impact-, chemical- and wear resistance of the flooring is required. Rising and baking requires floorings resistant to the transport equipment employed but particularly resistant to the elevated temperatures to which the flooring will be exposed.
